You’re already using an image for the background:

So you will probably want to remove that first.

    background-image: none;
    background-position: right;
    opacity: 1.0;
}

.sp-data-table tbody, .sp-calendar tbody {

It may snowball into also needing to change the font colours.
The width is defined in the grid of your theme.
