• Alright, so my site: https://blackrussiancomics.com

uses a fairly large background image which consists of a centered beige portion that is 5 pixels wider on both sides and has the rounded edges.

I had to make this an image because Internet explorer would mess up before and not give me a background colour.

So I did this image up and thought all was well, now if you view this in chrome you’ll see the image is slightly lower and the original page wrapper is peaking through the top.

I have no idea how to fix this…perhaps I shouldn’t use an image or is there a way to round the edges on the page wrapper myself?

Any help if you understand me would be appreciated lol.

  • Phillyzero, Chrome uses the same engine as Safari, so I would check your site in Safari.

If it looks funny in both, you need to fix something in your stylesheet. If it looks okay in Safari, it might be a bug with Chrome.

Either way, you should be able to spot the problem using Firebug, and be able tweak it until it looks okay in all browsers ??
