Background music that stops when a video starts playing

  • Hi all
    I’m looking for a plugin that plays background music, which stops when a video starts playing. I cannot seem to find such a plugin. Right now I’m using Soundy Background Music that has a button on the page on which you can pause the music.
    Is this the only option? That the visitor of the site has to pause the music using a butten, and then he or she can watch a video? Instead that this goes automatically?

    Or do I need to manually tweak the plugin e.g. change the php and/or Javascript? And how can I do this?

    I’m a little new to WordPress..

  • To be honest, most people don’t like websites that play music automatically. It’s a real disincentive for people to return to your site.
