Hi all. I’m a super novice at a lot of this but im trying to get my background to stay fixed. I select the option in the mantra settings but it doesnt seem to make any difference. I just created a child theme with a lone style.css file so I guess I could just try to make it work with some code in there but now I’m just hell bent on finding the code for the background in the normal style css for mantra. I don’t see it anywhere. My site is historyforhumans.com

Also, now that I have a child theme setup and activated, will changes I make in the mantra settings via wordpress be stored in my child css, or am I going to have to put that all in manually? I love that mantra lets me bypass a lot of this css coding but I’d like to make any changes I make permanent via the child so it won’t get impacted by updates. Thanks!

I see you’ve managed to make the background image fixed.

Anything you set in Mantra Settings is not stored in any file but in WordPress’ database and should remain as set between updates. As a precaution you can export your Mantra settings before every update using the “Export” button (as you can always recover set options from this export).

There’s no way to disable the built-in options and transfer them all to CSS in the child theme. This is generated and displayed on-page by the theme so you’ll never find it in any file.
