    We've added all products to Google Merchant but one variation is shown as Backorder? It's exactly the same as other products in this range of clothing except for the size.

    Hello @auntypizza,

    I understand that one of your product’s availability is showing as ‘Backorder’ on Google Merchant, despite being in stock on your store. Is that correct?

    This discrepancy can occur due to various reasons, such as a possible misconfiguration in the product settings since the backorder means the product isn’t available at the moment, but you’re accepting orders, and it will be shipped when it’s available again.

    To solve this issue, please try the steps below:

    • Verify your product settings in WooCommerce. Make sure the stock status for this particular variation is set to ‘In Stock’.
    • Try manually syncing the product to Google Merchant via Google Listings & Ads.

    One of the screenshots I posted shows the product is In Stock so that’s not the problem.

    How do you “manually sync the product to Google Merchant via Google Listings & Ads.”? Is there documentation somewhere?

    To manually force syncing your product to the merchant center, navigate to https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page (replace example.com with your domain), and scroll down to the Product Sync section.

    I synced the product 107 and it still says Backorder in Google Merchant – or does it take a while to sync?

    Last update time is today. Very strange that this is the only variation saying Baclkorder – maybe if I delete the variations and do them again, then sync again that might help?

    • How does the inventory tab, in the product data area, look like currently? Kindly share a screenshot of it.
    • How are the details for the 106 variation currently (for comparison)?
    • How does the screen at WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory look like, currently? Kindly share a screenshot of it.

    Details for the 106 variation are exactly the same as the details for 107 except for the size and “Adult Content” – 107 was “No” and 106 was Default, so I changed 107 to Default. Will do a sync.

    Did a sync and date on Last update time is 29 Feb – product 107 STILL saying Backorder under the Availability column

    Hi @auntypizza, thank you for the additional details.

    Please let us know how it goes after the sync. Additionally, you can choose to do a single product sync; no need to sync all 107 of them for this.

    You can also try deleting that particular variation, adding it again, and syncing it to see if that helps!

    @omarfpg You misread my comment. The product ID is 107 – there aren’t 107 products!

    I’ll try deleting the variation and adding back then syncing.

    If it doesn’t help we’ll be looking for an alternative plugin to sync our products.

    I deleted the product with an ID of 107 and recreated it then synced it – product is now showing as In Stock in Google Merchant
