Backorder amount reduced when order shipped?

    Hi. I just wanted to confirm how it works with the maximum backorder amount. If we chose 10 max backorders and there was only 1 left, then someone ordered the last backorder available (and it went to out of stock) would it automatically go back to 1 available backorder once we mark the order as ‘shipped’?

    If you have 1 item in stock which is ordered then the stock goes to 0. But you have 10 max backorder so another 10 can be ordered (the stock will then go to -10). Shipping doesn’t change the stock. The stock should always be changed manually (or by an external API service).
