Backorder notifications being sent for pending orders?

    Hello all,

    We have recently set up with a new finance provider who have integrated via their plugin. As a customer places the order it exists with a pending payment status, should their finance application then be approved it is updated via API to processing etc….

    The issue we are having is that backorder notifications are being sent for pending orders regardless of whether they ever complete and we would like for this to only happen as the order is then paid for.

    We do not have this issue with Klarna whom works in the same way, so I am confused! Is this normal behavior for WooCommerce or something I need to ask the plugin devs about?

    The issue we are having is that backorder notifications are being sent for pending orders regardless of whether they ever complete and we would like for this to only happen as the order is then paid for.

    As it’s directly related to the plugin, you’ll want to ask the plugin developer for assistance.
