I’m using the Verbo theme and when I try to put in quotation marks in the header, it always displays them with a backslash before them, for example \”

I’m not sure what’s causing it and why it keeps adding a backslash… it seems to happen with any form of punctuation I’m using.. the site is still a work in progress but you can take a look at it here, you’ll also see straight away what I’m taking about as the statement on the main page has backslashes before each quotation mark.

I’ve made and am working off a child theme, so I’m good to go on that side of things, although the same issue is also happening on the parent theme.

Also, the header does not display on any other page other than the home page, how do I fix this?

here’s a link to my site..
you’re help would be really appreciated, I’m also fairly novice so baby steps please…
