Backslashes in Front of Single Quotes in Titles

  • 1.5 is putting backslashes (“\”) in front of single quotes in my titles. Before I spend hours tracking the code, does anyone happen to know where I can fix that? TIA

  • Is it doing it for new posts, or just for old ones? When I upgraded to 1.5, all of my old posts had the backslashes in the titles (and in the descriptions for my links). I think you can edit them out by hand, if you can get editing a post to save changes (I can’t). I’ve been editing them directly through the database using phpmyadmin.

    New posts don’t seem to be affected.

    You’ll need to add a stripslashes($text) somewhere in the code where I don’t remember.
