    Is there any way to backup the notes? I just mistakenly deleted a very important note and then I had to restore the whole website to restore it.

    Hi,

    When a note is deleted its placed in the trash and (usually) truely deleted automatically by WP after 30 days. This means that it is possible to change the status of the note (stored as post type) back from ‘trash’ to ‘publish’ in the database directly.

    Thanks Jeroen for the prompt response. I wouldn’t know how to recover the note from the DB thus I have made a copy of the notes in the Evernote.
