Backup apparently succeeded

    Hi, I’m trying to use the free version of this plugin to determine if it is the one I want to pay for.

    I scheduled my first backup and, when I check the settings, it says “The backup apparently succeeded and is now complete” but, directly below that, it says I have 0 existing backups and the message below says “You have not yet made any backups.”

    What should I make of this? I’m at a complete loss. I checked server resource utilization and things were pretty quiet when the backup was supposed to be running. I read through a few support atricles and nothing seems to apply. No errors, everything looks like a success, but there is no backup.

    Hi,

    Could you try to click on the “rescan local storage”? Do you see the backups now when you click that?

    If still none, please can you send us a copy of the backup log?
    You can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hello Bryle,

    I’m not sure if this makes sense but I had a file backup running a little later and it looks like that backup included the database. When I look at the log, it references the database and I took a look at the backup files and noticed a database zip file. I haven’t yet downloaded that file and taken a look at it but it looks like it showed up as a part of the file backup.

    Would that make any sense? I guess, if the file backup is running after the database backup and that includes the database backup, that’s the most important thing.

    Yes, sounds like you have a complete set of backup with database running.

    Thanks for the confirmation Bryle. I have been taking a little more look and it does seem the database is getting fully backed up. So far, so good. Thanks for the help.
