I think I really like this approach and plugin. Just one minor think I encountered. When backuing up from dfferent sites to one remote location it is really hard to distinguish the backups. The fles got a hash value but not the url or sth. in the name. There should be an option to change the default file names.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry about the tardy reply.

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad to know that you like it. Currently, there is no option for changing the default file name. However, we plan to add the feature in future release.

By the way, if you found WPvivid backup plugin helpful, could you spend a couple of seconds to give it a nice review? This would motivate us to provide new features regularly. Thanks in advance.

Hey it is not resolved ?? I currently have a remote storage folder with like 200+ backup archives. If one of my sites is down it is nearly impossible to find the correct backup file :O

Is there something planned in this regard? Currently you cannot properly recover a site without the site being live and working. But this is not why we have backups in the first place and for sure not the case when we need to recover ??

    Thanks in advance ??

    Thanks for your feedback.

First, I am sorry about the topic marked as resolved. We plan to support for uploading backups to custom folders in remote storage in future release. After that, the backups will be distinguished easily for each site.

In regard to the second question, please update WPvivid backup plugin to 0.9.16. The latest version added an upload feature, which allows you to upload and restore backups in a new WordPress installation. Please see our step by step guide on restore your site from a backup in Get started documents.

Thanks for using WPvivid backup plugin. Feel free to contact us if you have any problems.
