    Hi…I recently switched back to the free version…. I always get the message below after completion… But when I just went to check my backups, the last one said “not finished” the previous ones looked as if complete, with no mention of unsuccessful…. what does this mean?

    Backup contains: Files and database (Full backup)

    I am having a very similar experience with the free plugin. It was noticeably slower to finish a month ago, but now it never finishes. I’ve tried for two days. It gets stalled while working on the first file and never finishes.

    Hi there,

    Could you please share a copy of the log file for the ‘not finished’ backup?
    This will provide us with the information we require to identify any issues.
    You can use a service like PasteBin to share the log file and provide a link.

    please see the other posts about this. it was fixed wiht an updated cURL version on the hosting server.

    @sddarkman619 thank you… I’ve been in storm prep here in tallahassee waiting to experience something Ive never experienced before…been through many heavy storms but never the eye of a CAT 4…. will check other posts when I can

    Hi Nick.. tried a manual backup this afternoon… It didn’t complete and waited till scheduled update time tonite.. and left same error message “The backup attempt has finished, apparently unsuccessfully”
    I read the other post responses and one mentioned php8.0….i asked bluehost to update me for another reason, and they said they couldn’t because I’m on a shared server ..
    should I contact them about the updated Curl version?

    Some users report no issues with Bluehost so checking with DropBox is advisable.
    It does appear from analysis that some DropBox servers were subject to changes.

    @nrobertsudp I am on blue host with cURL version 8.7.1 OpenSSL/1.1.1w … I do not use drop box, or any external location… last update unfinished as before… BUT previous ones appear to be. .can I count on them if they are reported “unsuccessful” but not noted as incomplete on updatePlus list of updates?

    Could you provide a log file for an unsuccessful backup using PasteBin or similar?

    @vupdraft… I see… where does the free version update to? And how much space is available…each update takes 1.1gb…

    Hi there,

    By ‘where does the free version update to’ do you mean where does it upload the backups to?
    If this is your question the uploads are sent to storage defined in settings and/or stored locally.

    The free version does not include Vault storage, you mentioned you switched to a free version.
    The Premium version comes with at least 1GB depending on the subscription plan being used.
