    Hello guys,

as I listed in the backupwordpress thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-update-with-wpremote), i think that is valid to report here too:

when I make a “download backup” in the wpremote site app, when the zip is done, and the default popup opens, the download dont start anymore.. I receive this page error:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-content/e4658d28c2-backups/site-com-manual-complete-2012-11-26-16-24-40.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    one suggestion:
I noticed that the wpremote zip file created, after download, remains stored in the server. Would be great if the file was automatically deleted. Or, if it can’t be removed, it could be listed in one special category of backups in the backups page (but in my case, some hosts have a storage limit and I can’t store many versions of backup, so, would be nice if it was deleted)

    Thanks!

  • Hi Gustao,

This has been fixed in version 2.4.13.

Thanks for your suggestion re. deleting the backup after you have downloaded it, I agree completely. We’ll make it so.

+1 for this, I would LOVE to see this as a feature.
