    I am getting constant errors that occur when the plugin tries to backup the uploads folder. This is the error,

    Error: (2122) Unable to backup your uploads. Please try again

    I changed settings, increased the time-out to 3 mins and ZIP file size to 1G, but that did not make any difference. The batch size for uploads, I set at 50,000 when I first installed the plugin and has been set at that since.

    All worked fine before, but suddently this error keeps repeating.

    I set the plugin to generate a log file, before I retried backups. It has been several retries and the log file is not generated.

    What can be done about this?

    Here is more info.

    One of the attempted backups that erred, was left in the backed up list, marked as an error. When I tried to view it, this message was in the pop-up window,

    {"readyState":4,"responseText":"","responseJSON":null,"status":500,"statusText":"Internal Server Error"}

    That may help determine what went on.

    Problem with the log thing, the plugin did not generate one, even though I activated it, but I will start a ticket, much appreicate it.

    To share the results here.

    The reason for the backup fail was due to the settings I had under the Advanced tab. It is where we can manually set the batch sizes for the specific Database & Folder backups.

    I had set all of them at 10,000 because the backup was stopping with errors when I first used it. The 10,000 setting worked fine for a while until recently, they began to stop in errors again.

    The settings were changed again, this time, the batch sizes for Plugins & Themes was changed down to 5000 each, then Uploads and Others changed down to 500 each. Now the backup works again.

    As a comparision, on other websites I manage, I kept the batch sizes at 10,000. Backups on other websites work with no errors, no problems.

    Here is why, on 2 websites, the 10,000 batch size settings failed while other websites I had they still work fine.

    The websites that failed are hosted on Shaw Hosting which uses Hostopia servers. I had nothing but performance issues with them. I am not surprised that things failed on Hostopia, while other websites on other hosting servers (ie: Bluehost) work just fine.

    If anyone has the same issues I did, try changing the batch size.
