    Hi, I noticed that the backup is getting really slow….yesterday it took more than 10 hours….with errors and not completed at the end. Since I am not an pc expert please help me….I don’t know what the problem is. Thank you.

    To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the backup log?
    This log can be found in the Existing Backups tab of the UpdraftPlus dashboard.
    If you cannot access the UpdraftPlus dashboard, then you can find the log file in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory via FTP or your hosts’ file manager.

    Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

    To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb save your settings and run a new process.

    If the issue persists, please ask your hosts/server admin to investigate their PHP error logs. These logs should contain more information on the exact issue that is causing the backup process to halt.

    HI. I am having issues with Updraft. It is always getting stuck on db backups and never completing. It’s has been happening for 2-3 months now. Can anyone assist me?

    Hi @kevinandover,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?

    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Updraft plus ne me fait plus de mise à jour complète non plus. J’ai modifié mon adresse mail d’administrateur, j’ai coché fractionner à 25 Mo dans les paramètres avancés. Rien ne change aucune sauvegarde complète. Que dois-je faire?

    Could you send me a copy of your server’s PHP Error log?
    You can find this log through your web hosting control panel (typically cPanel). If you are unsure where to find the PHP Error log, you can ask your hosts to provide it.

    I created 2 new wordpress sites, updraft backup fails on both (only using local for backups). I have other wordpress sites that have successful updraft backups.
    I have made changes to wp-congig as per forum, even copied the php.ini over from the working sites (ther new sites do not have a php.ini ….. No joy.
    I did get a warning about not enough visitors to the site so I have even tried using uptime robot on a 5 minute check … Still no joy, see below message from UpDraft:
    “Sun, December 29, 2019 13:23
    Warning: Your website is visited infrequently and UpdraftPlus is not getting the resources it hoped for; please read this page:”

    I gave up and removed that plugin a few weeks ago.
