    Hi @thuisfeestje

    Could you please confirm that you have write access given here:
    Absolute path: /var/www/bitsmtp.com/

    So, our plugin can make temporary folder here.
    If there is no write access our plugin won’t be able to replace the files.

    To check the permissions:
    cd /var/www/bitsmtp.com && ls -la
    All of files listed above should have pattern starting with: rwxrwxr-x

    To fix it use simple command:
    chmod -R 775 /var/www/bitsmtp.com

    If you want to use 755 permissions make sure the owner of those files is the same user as PHP uses.

    If that’s not it I’d ask you for your “site information”, you can download it in troubleshooting -> advanced options of plugin settings page.
    There may be some private data that you don’t want to share so, you can send it via email to us [ support (at) backupbliss dot com ]

    Let me know if you need more details
    Thank you

    Hi,

    I’ve sent the file via the chat.
    Unfortunately it did not work with the permission fix.

    Thanks for the great service!!!

    Thank you @thuisfeestje

    I can see this is plain WordPress installation, right?
    We will try to reproduce it somehow with Nginx configuration.

    If the test won’t give us anything useful I’ll contact you directly via email;
    But if we will be able to reproduce it I’ll just send you beta hotfix ??

    I’ll use email you filled inside chatbox.

    Yes correct. It was a complete empty setup where I wanted to import the backup to.

    please note that that server was installed today, so it’s also the latest WP version which was released just now. Maybe that caused the issue?.?

    Thanks for you help… and good luck debugging!
