    First of all, thank you very much for the great plugin! Unfortunately I keep having problems with backup & migration. WP Clone always worked perfectly. Problems arose after the update to Backup & Migration. I am currently getting the error message that no email can be sent to the admin. The backups are created, but I cannot download them using the download button or the link. A backup also failed. With the daily creation of backups, I can set how many backups should be kept. Even though I had set it to “2”, ALL backups were always saved. I believe that if I ever have to really restore a backup, it won’t work. WP Clone ALWAYS worked. So I disabled Backup & Migration and wanted to enable WP Clone again. Access to the backend was immediately impossible. I am a little desperate. The website has thousands of visitors every day and I urgently need secure backups to work. Thank god I downloaded the current backup from the server via FTP. It would be really nice if I got a working version of your plugin. Especially since a downgrade to WP Clone seems impossible.

    Please always share logs of failed process, this way we can speed things up.
    Especially for the solution, it can be a bit more precise.

    1. E-mail issues
    – It usually happens when your server does not have properly configured SMTP function. You can ignore these messages as long as your backup was created, as they may be not related to error but just some notice. You can also disable this function in “Other options” section (almost at the very top of the section).

    2. Download issues
    – If you’re using some security plugin it’s known to us that you could restrict access to these files with e.g. WordFence or iThemes Security. You can try to use alternate download method, which is also located in “Other options” section:

    3. How many backups should be kept
    – This option works only on non-locked backups, manual backups are permanently locked, scheduled are unlocked by default. But if you lock them, they’re protected and won’t be removed automatically.
