  • i have the same problem with several websites. All of them are saving to the same dropbox account. The half of them have this Code 400 like

Error uploading ‘path to file’ to Dropbox: Both user_id (xxx) and token (u’k69q79xxxxawe5z’) should not be specified. (Status Code: 400)

I have never seen this issue before.

Is it during a backup or authorisation?

Status code 400 just means that it was a bad HTTP request, see this link for more details: https://www.checkupdown.com/status/E400.html

have you been able to run any backups at all, or did you get this on the first try? can you give some details about your set up, like what type of server you’re running, etc.

I tried repeatedly to backup and got the same message each time. Also unlinked and relinked the dropbox account but that made no difference

Are you sure you are using WordPress Backup to Dropbox?

If so can you please post a screenshot of the error.

Resolving due to the unix principal: No news is good news.
