Backup Failures

    I am having trouble getting it to create a backup, it keeps failing and giving me “The backup has not finished”
    This time these errors:
    Mon, August 31, 2020 15:39
    Warning: A zip error occurred. – check your log for more details.
    Warning: A zip error occurred. – check your log for more details.
    Warning: A zip error occurred. – check your log for more details.
    Warning: A zip error occurred. – check your log for more details.
    Warning: /home/ezysnipcomau/public_html/wp-content/updraft: The backup directory is not writable (or disk space is full) – the database backup is expected to shortly fail.
    Any ideas???

    Hi,

    “Warning: /home/ezysnipcomau/public_html/wp-content/updraft: The backup directory is not writable (or disk space is full) – the database backup is expected to shortly fail.”
    > Please make sure there is more than enough disk space on your server for the backups to be stored.

    It was trying to back up on dropbox 2G

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus needs to create and zip the backups on your local server first before it sends to your remote storage.
