Backup file disappears in TMP folder before uploading
-
Hey,
when i start a backup all seems fine, but after creating the “to backup file list” (nearly 15200 files, estimated size: 3.12GB) it trys to create the zip file with all the files using PclZip. Then a long time nothing happens and when i look at the temp directory i only find the following files:
.filelist
.htaccess
index.php
.running
theblogname.wordpress.2013-01-10.xml
.static
wordpress_8.sqlbut no zip file. the log file then stuck for a while (a few hundred seconds). Then suddenly a large zip file appears in the temp directory, growing very fast (a few hundres MB per minute). looking at the tmp directory i can see shortly appearing pclzip-*.gz files. that file reaches a size of 3.2GB and then disappears completely from one second to the next. the log then only says that it trys to upload the zip file (via ftp). but it can’t, because there is no zip file anymore. so it retries 3 times to upload the non existing file and then finishes.
i don’t know how to fix this problem. i don’t see any error log in the server log. and the backupwp log file doesn’t say much.
i’m using WordPress 3.5 and BackupWP 2.1.17.
i have another blog running on the same serverin a different vhost, with a even larger backup size. there everything is fine. the upload of 4.2 GB to the ftp server works.
Thanks for your support.
Ingmar
