Hello. I am wondering if I can save the settings for my image (only one, free version). It was quite tedious to draw 10 areas and I’d be sad if through some error that work was lost .. e.g. if some updating process produces an error and I’d have to set everything up from scratch.
Maybe I can save some data from the WordPress database or through FTP?
    Thanks!
    Regards

    Hello @wpjap,

The Draw Attention image is just a post of a custom post type, so you can use the built-in export tool to export the image and all of its settings. Just go to Tools > Export and select ‘Draw Attention’ from the list of post types and click the Export button. You’ll get an XML file with your image and all of its settings, including all of your hotspots.

You can import that to a new site or to restore a backup by using Tools > Import and selecting the WordPress import tool. The only thing that may not be backed up is the image itself, so you may need to re-upload the image.

Since all of the setting and hotspots are saved in the database, any backup that includes the database will include your Draw Attention image. If you’re using any backup solution that backs up the database, then you don’t need to worry about saving the Draw Attention images separately.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with!
