    Gday mate,

This is because your PHP time limit is too low and there is not enough time available for the zip to be uploaded to Dropbox.

You will need to increase this setting until I get the time to work on a feature where a chunked upload is resumed from where it last left off.

    Cheers,
    Mikey

I get the endless loop and no files in my drop box folder:

    23:02:16: Uploading D:\Hosting\6273691\html/wp-content\backups\wpb2d-backup-log.txt.
23:02:16: A total of 19MB of memory was used to complete this backup.

Can you elaborate on what PHP file to edit and where it can be found?

    Hi Michael (or G’day!),

    What’s an acceptable time limit?

I updated to 300 and updated to 1.4.3 and it still fails:

08:24:33: A fatal error occured: Service Unavailable (Status Code: 503)
    08:22:23: Uploading /home/gfaelekt/public_html/wp-content/backups/gfa-::-innovative-drive-systems-for-industrial-doors-backup-2013-02-01.zip in chunks.

    08:22:20: Approximately 95% complete.
    08:22:13: Approximately 66% complete.
    08:22:07: Approximately 66% complete.
    08:21:59: Approximately 61% complete.
    08:21:51: Approximately 59% complete.

08:21:23: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress plugins.
08:21:22: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress core.
08:21:19: Safe mode is enabled on your server so the PHP time and memory limit cannot be set by the backup process. So if your backup fails it’s highly probable that these settings are too low.
08:21:19: Your time limit is 240 seconds and your memory limit is 96M
08:21:19: Backup started on Friday February 1, 2013.

(This is a different website with the same problem, but one with the right version of PHP.)

    Hi,

You’ve marked this as resolved, presumably because you replied, but it is not. It still does the same thing.

Can you please let me know what the time limit should be set to?

    Regards,
    Drew
