Backup Guard just loading/not working

We used to have such an issue with the older versions but version 1.6.0 shouldn’t have it.

Could you clear cache (if you’re using cache plugin, purge cache there as well) and try performing a backup?

Version 1.6.6.1 but details windows says Not tested with my version of wordpress.
Click Backup and nothing happens.
Click Import and the little pops up like it should.
Click Report Issue and get a Warning page: “A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site” etc.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled. Have deactivated other plugins.

Hello – I am having the same issue as the original poster. The BackupGuard is not working. When I press “BackUp Now”, all I can see is it loading, then it stops and nothing happens.

I have version 1.6.7.1, I have tried deactivating then activating it. I have also tried clearing cache on my website.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

May we ask you to update the plugin to the latest 1.6.8 version and after clearing the cache check again?
Also, please, try to run a backup using the private window of the browser and let us know about the results.
