Backup Hangs

    Hi,

    Could you try to upgrade your PHP to latest version (PHP 7)?

    Also, reduce the backup archive split size so files are smaller and more manageable.

    To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb or lower, save your settings and run a new backup.

    I upgraded PHP to 7.2.16, and reduced split backups from 400MB to 80MB. It improved, but still hangs. Hangs at 82% now instead of 65%. Is it good to move the split backup to 50MB? That will make a lot of files for one backup. It’s a very small website with just 16 pages and not much content. I’m surprised to be running into this problem.
