Backup modification

    I have big gallery configured on my old blog and now I need to migrate to another server. My question: If I make backup of the gallery using internal gallery backup module and modify this backup config manually. Is it possible to restore gallery backup on new server with manually added modifications in backup data?
    Do you check some key which will verify identity of the gallery backup file ?

    Sorry, but I can’t suggest you anyway to modify gallery backup. We don’t have any restrictions for modification of the backups, but I can’t guide you for some particular modifications because it’s depend of your needs.

    Sorry, i had the same Idea for the manual modification of the gallery backup. Is it actually was successful in your case?

    Better to avoid manual gallery backup modification. It’s could damage entire data structure and as result you’ll not be import this backup to another gallery location.
    If you decide to modify gallery backup please make sure that you save somewhere original copy of the gallery backup files.
