    The only reason could be your server configurations. We try to create a symlink on backup, but if it fails you won’t be able to download your backup using Backup Guard interface. Of course the backup is there and you can download it using any FTP client. The backups we keep in wp-content/uploads/backup-guard directory. If you want to fix the issue, you should make sure your server configurations allow symlink creation. Otherwise we won’t be able to deliver your backup using Backup Guard interface.
