Backup of plugins does not work

    I just had a look into the .gz archive and was very surprised to find that the wp-content/plugins subdir is not backuped at all. Instead, there are masses of “DEPRECATED” warnings inside the backup log. This happens with all the WordPress sites I am hosting.
    WordPress: 5.3.2, BackWPup: 3.7.1 (free), PHP: 7.4.4

    After days of silence by the “support”, I managed to find the reason for the issue myself. Thank you for nothing! I will switch to a different backup solution.
