    Hi Mika,
I am trying to set this up on a client’s site – she has a DreamPress account. I set up the keys and bucket in her Dreamhost panel, and copied the keys to the plugin – but the Backup page just has (no actual options to select a bucket or set up a backup):

    DreamObjects Backup Settings
    Settings
Configure your site for backups by selecting your bucket, what you want to backup, and when.

I have just had the account upgraded to php 7.1 and updated WP.

That happens when the app can’t figure out what it’s supposed to do, because of weird data being returned from DreamObjects

    General causes:

    * PHP 5.x (which you know it’s not)
    * Not actually having any buckets to backup to

DreamHost changed over the location of the datacenter. Have the client make sure they’ve got an active bucket in the right Datacenter (objects-us-east-1)

The user location is showing as objects-us-east1.dream.io and the bucket (I created, it didn’t give me any option for location) is bccbackup.objects-us-east1.dream.io. Should I be creating a new user? I just took the one that was already there – her default account username.

I tried creating a new user and a new bucket, resetting the plugin and adding the new keys, and deleting the plugin and reinstalling it from the repository (as I had seen someone else posting here said this fixed a similar issue) – but still no content on the Backup page.

I have installed Updraft Plus – and it was able to successfully connect to DreamObjects and complete the backup, so we can just use that and I will mark this as resolved.

I found a solution for this. Reset the plugin and re-add your key and secret key. After applying the bucket selection options should be available for you again.

Glad that worked for you – it didn’t work for me though.

I have no idea why the ’email me’ flag didn’t … email me your updates. SIGH. Sorry.

I have no idea why that bucket isn’t connecting. I’ll have a look at the server logs and see if I can dig up anything, but as ctrue321 mentioned, resetting worked for everyone else. Which is odd… It’s probably permissions, but even so it’s supposed to be throwing errors. Thanks, Amazon, for your cryptic messages …
