Backup process is fast if your server is fast

  • Edit: I left 3 stars but now give 5 starts. I move to a new host and now backup process is very fast. Like the plugin author mentioned, if you’re server is slow, the backup process will also be slow.
    Old review:
    The backup process took ages even for a small website. My website is around 500 MB and this plugin could not make a backup of it even after 10 minutes. I’d rather use cPanel to backup my website, it’s super fast.

    Hi @alve39,

    This is entirely a function of the resource allowance that your web host sets for your web hosting…. cPanel is outside of those limits, so, if you find a difference between the two, that tells you the limits they’ve put on your hosting (as opposed to the actual power of the server without those limits).

    As such, the negative review belongs to your web hosting company rather than to us!
