Backup running but it stops

    Hi!

    In my site this plugin runs both on cron and manual mode, it works like a charm.

    However, it stops regularly after few minutes. I’ve noticed that the backup resumes at the exact moment in which I access the WP dashboard. It happens every time.

    Is this behavior normal? I mean, when running the scheduled backup the plugin is supposed to start and complete by itself..

    Gday mate,

    Resuming is a feature of the plugin to get around restrictions shared hosts impose on servers. Many of them have very low timeout lengths that kill long running processes like a backup.

    The plugin uses wp-cron that is a quasi cron feature in WordPress. The cron is only activated when someone access your site, this is why it starts when you hit it.
