    Hi,

i put WP-Optimize to automatically optimize my website every month and of course enabled “Take a backup with UpdraftPlus before running scheduled optimizations”

But after the scheduled optimizations has run, I can’t find the backup. So, did it do a backup or not?

    What can I do?

    Thanks

    Heike

    Hi,

Can you check the wp-content/updraft directory of your site to see if the backup is there?

    Hi,

    yes I did.

The optimization was on “Letzte geplante Optimierung war am:?7. M?rz 2023 17:43” – and there is no backup from that date…

Do you have a log file for that date?

Under Database >> Settings do you have this option checked here

    Hi, you mean a updraft-Logfile? No I haven’t.

And yes, of course I have checked “Take a backup with UpdraftPlus before running scheduled optimizations” (see my 1. Post).

    Hi,

There are two places you can set the option to take a backup before a DB optimisation.

The first is the one is in the optimizations tab, this is for manual optimisations. The second one is in the Settings tab, this one is for scheduled optimizations. Can you please ensure both of these are checked.

    Yes, both are checked.

Can you install the free plugin WPCrontrol and take a screenshot of your Cron Events (this is to check your sites scheduler)

    Hi,
which cron event you are looking for – since there are many on my website.
Taking a screenshot of all of them is not possible.

    Thanks

Are any of your Cron events showing up as being overdue?

    (@hlorenz)

    No.

It sounds like your site scheduler is working OK then.

Would you be willing to let me access your site, if so can you send an enquiry here: [email protected]

Please could you reference this ticket when you do. For the order number please put: 00000

    Hi,

I think I will wait until the next scheduled optimization to see if it works or not this tim. I don’t like giving access to my websites…

    I’ll keep you posted…

Why is this marked as resolved?

    Cause it’s not…
