Backup Stuck at round 60% without error

Hello,
although i know there are several threads about this, i was not able to fix this issue.
I tried all options, but every time i want to backup my wordpress, it is stuck at about 60% depending on compression method and the settings i made.
The backup stops working without giving an Error in the logfile or something.I noticed, that this problem even shows out, if i only backup data and disable all Data in the settings.
There is enough memory (ram and harddrive), i use about 20% of my available ram.
I am usin W3TotalCache, maybe it got something to do with that?
I really like your Plugin and would enjoy, if it would work out for me.
