    Hi,

Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb, save your settings and run a new backup.

    Regards,
    Bryle

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

From the log, it appears that the backup completed successfully, with no errors.

Hi, i have kind of same problem. I am adding just 2-3 articles with 2-3 images per week but my weekly backup lasts too long. More than 3 hours.

Here is the log of the running backup process: https://hastebin.com/raw/abomobadoc

    Hi @sabitkamera,

Please could you try reducing the ‘Split archives every’ option (in the ‘expert settings’) to 100MB?

Please could you also add the following to the Uploads ‘Exclude these’ list:

    ShortpixelBackups,mc4wp-debug-log.php

These should not be required in the backup, and may be greatly adding to the size of the backup.

Hi, i made the changes that you mentioned. It took more than a hour and i’ve cancelled the backup while it was still running.
