    UpdraftPlus has been working well for a year or so. A few weeks ago it started to throw errors (see log excerpt) and not finishing properly almost any backup

    I changed the split size to 25MB with no change in behaviour.

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?

    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    a log file deriving from a unsuccessful backup
    successful backup

    and, another one, from yesterday 14th, from a successful backup
    successful backup

    I don’t know what causes a backup to be successful or not. They usually fail, but maybe after some hours one of them suddenly becomes successul…..

    Well, I don’t know how to change file permissions in Drive…

    Try this instead

    blog.datium.eu/docs/log_ERRORS.txt
    blog.datium.eu/docs/log_NOERRORS.txt

    both case-sensitive….

    I have replaced the remote backup from Drive to dropbox. Seems to work now (no errors, apparently succeded messages). 7 zip files
