    Hello, I am an unsophisticated user of UpdraftPlus. I currently have the latest version of WP, UpdraftPlus, etc. In the past, I have experience no problems with creating UpdraftPlus backups in Dropbox. But recently, I had some problems with Dropbox and may have inadvertently changed some Dropbox settings.

    On the very next backup after this Dropbox problem, the backup “failed to complete”, and I get a number of the same messages in the the error log:

    0768.318 (0) Dropbox: chunked upload exception (Dropbox_BadRequestException): Error
    in call to API function “files/upload_session/append:2”: HTTP header
    “Dropbox-API-Arg”: cursor.session_id: ‘None’ expected to be a string, got null

    Currently, Dropbox shows the UpdatePlus.com folder in Apps as shared only with myself. Is this something that might be causing the problem?

    Hi Jim,

    Could you re-authenticate your Dropbox storage please? Then run a test backup.

    If the issue persists, it is possible that the settings has been corrupted. I would recommend wiping out settings in the ‘Advance Tools’ tab and setup UpdraftPlus and Dropbox remote storage again.
