Hi! im admin on over 100 websites, and when i setup plugin to backup to my FTP server for all backups, i wont to export setting without entering ftp Remote path for site.
if “Remote path” is empty, backup sent to root ftp with name of the website,
wouldn’t it be better if I left the “Remote path” blank (not entered), backup plugin to automatically create a “Remote path” on ftp as domain name.
    Example (ftp_backup_ip/domain.tld)
then i have universal exported setting for all my domains
then install your plugin, import seting file and save setting
plugin automatic create “Remote path” when backup start.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

I’m afraid it has to be set manually as the default path is set to be “wp-content/updraft” folder. You also have to make sure that the correct file permission is set for the specific folder/location.

I didn’t mean the local backup, I mean the backap on the remote ftp server

If i leave field “Remote path” blank,
it would be good to plugin create folder on ftp remote server with domainname.tld
and backup in to created folder.

    Hi Aleks,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Can you make sure you have the correct remote path? You should see the correct format if you hover your cursor over the path field.

    Regards,
    Bryle
