Backup Uploads to dropbox take forever or don’t finish

here’s another screenshot. Backups not completing especially when they are to be uploaded to remote such as dropbox. I can backup to localhost but remote causing issues of non-completion or failing. see screen shot:

ok, on my main host which is mojohost I am having the issues, but on bluehost it’s working perfectly.

Some there is something on my main host causing issues, and others are having the same issues as I am.

What Curl version are you using, is it 8.10.0

If so there is an issue with this particular issue, please could you ask your hosts to install this patch: https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/14895

yep that version.

my host installed the patch to 8.10.1 OpenSSL/1.1.1w

and my backups are now again working flawlessly.

I have the same issue, backups are not finishing. I don’t have any influence with my hosting company to have them apply a patch.

According to their support rep, this is what they were able to gather on my hosting server:

The error message in the log file does seem to point to an issue with curl. Is there any hope for getting these backups to work? I have quite a few installs of UpdraftPlus and it would be a major undertaking to use another service.

UpdraftPlus has been amazing for me for many years.
