backups going to old email after repeated settings change

Hey there!
I used my personal email address when setting up a client’s site but now since launching the site I have changed over my email address to the client’s and I am still receiving the backups every day to my personal account. I’ve checked settings everywhere and am at a loss. I’m wondering if it is cached somewhere in the database or something?
Please help!
