Hi, after few days of testing, I have the options to keep up to 10 backups on the server and sometimes it saves 2 then there is only one..

What could it be? Could it be something related with the plugin optimize database that everytime I run it, deletes some config??

    Regards

    Hey there –

I haven’t heard of this one, exactly. So tell me – it never will save up to 10 of the backups for you? While it’s possible that cleaning up the database could be inadvertently doing something – I wonder instead if there’s a server limit somewhere interfering?

You can test the plugin but disabling the optimize database one and running several database backups to see if they work then. If so then it’s definitely the culprit. If not, we might need to search more.

    Hi,
I’ve been looking these days the backups, and the database backups are being stored corretcly but the full site backup don’t. Can it be because of the size?

I have configured every monday a full site backup, and saved the last 10 backups, well so the last monday backup it’s no longer on the server…

That could be a factor. Do you know how to exclude parts of the backup? If so go ahead and exclude the wp-content folder just to test whether the backup size is causing issues. You can do that and then just run several backups manually over the next day or so to see if it tries to save all 10 or whether it also stalls out in trying to keep them.

Let me know what you find out!
