Backups not finishing

    This topic has been opened before but i see no solution, thats why i open it again. i’m invested in Backupwordpress to S3, using it on like 50+ Sites so i really dont want to change…

    i got this problem increasingly this year. using same reseller accounts in canada and germany since a long time. More and more setups are not finishing the complete backup. even relatively fresh ones that take eg 50mb, not finishing. the file size just hangs after a while and it never ends.

    i’ve installed Updraft to test, and it backups the aforementioned small setup within 30 seconds.

    can somebody enlighten me and tell me what i should check with my provider or settings?

    Thanks! i did the activate support thing thru a page that is not working. hope we figure this out.

    Thanks Kat! Yes we are working on it. i got a feedback that it might be connected with my hosts running on litespeed. i tried the suggestions made by bwp from here:

    i just tried htaccess tip on one page and it seemed to work. the backup run thru fast and without problems. i will test on other pages now.

    That’s great! Make sure to stay in touch if you have further issues!

    And for anyone else having issues – do ensure if you are using Litespeed you check out the knowledge base at the link above for more information for adjustments you can make on your server!
