    Hi,

    We have the plugin set to backup once per week, preserving 5 backups, but it instead runs every hour (correctly preserving 5 copies).

    If I dig into the database options table, the settings confirm what it seems like it should be:
    s:31:”aiowps_enable_automated_backups”;s:1:”1″;
    s:26:”aiowps_db_backup_frequency”;i:7;
    s:25:”aiowps_db_backup_interval”;s:1:”1″;
    s:26:”aiowps_backup_files_stored”;i:5

    Any idea what could be wrong or do we just reset to defaults and hope that fixes it?

    Thanks,
    -Colin

    Hi Colin,

    Later this week (all being well) we’re releasing AIOS 5.0 which entirely replaces the current backup module. So it’s best to wait for that and then see what happens after upgrading.

    We have just release the AIOS 5.0.0 version and replaced the backup module. Can you please test it?

    Hi Prashat,
    I don’t usually do updates to the live site, but our next maintenance cycle is in a few weeks and I’ll be sure to test and update you then.
    Thanks,

    Ah. So you *removed* the backup module in favour of a different plugin.
    Well, that’s definitely stopped it from backing up every hour.
