[BackWpup] name lookup timed out

  • Hi , i’m quite new on WordPress, and i encountered a problem. Maybe someone would be able to help me on it.
    I wanted to save my website with BackWpup but after having enter my parametters for my save, i tried to lauch it. Everytime, in about 15 sec, a message appears :
    French version (original) :
    La réponse HTTP de test re?ue est une erreur “name lookup timed out”

    My translation for non-french speaker:
    The test HTTP’s response recieved is an error “name lookup timed out”

    And it stops. When i go to the folder, i can’t find any save. I succefully made one 1 week ago and don’t understand why it doesn’t work this time.

    I read many topics about this error but not on BackWPup and not during the save… (Many times, peoples say to change the max time for http request or something like, but i couldn’t find any lines of code they linked to change in my files. I think they were older versions or it wasn’t the same plugin)

    Does someone know what happend or what could i change ?

    BAckWPup mus do a HTTP request to run. BUt it looks that there cames a timeout. That can have many reasons. It can came from caching, cdn, Plugins, security settings, not allowed loop back connections.

    I will say i need mor information about you system and installation to can say more.
