BackWPup & Duo Security plugin incompablity

    I noticed that on all my sites where Duo Security and BackWPup are installed the functionality RUN NOW of backWPup does not work anymore.
    When I use the Run Now function on a job the reply is always this one: Job “DB Backup giornaliero” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds.
    The job never starts anyway.
    If I disable the Duo Security plug in all is fine.
    The scheduled jobs are not affected.
    I noticed this behaviour on 2 different WordPress sites so I think it is easy to reproduce.
