    however it still doesn’t exectute

did you activate the scheduling in the backup job? ??

    Thread Starter mattjurek

    (@mattjurek)

    now i get

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /var/www/html/example.com/html/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/app/backwpup_dojob.php on line 816

changed my domain to example for this only, this happens after it zips the backup. Also why doesnt it delete the local copy after transfer

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /var/www/html/example.com/html/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/app/backwpup_dojob.php on line 816

this message abords the script and the deletion can’t be done!
make 2 jobs with reduced data.

    Thread Starter mattjurek

    (@mattjurek)

Can’t we just increase the script execution time?

    Thread Starter mattjurek

    (@mattjurek)

Also, can the plugin delete remote backups?

the Plugin allredy expand the execution time, but the webserver excuten time is mostly max. of 300 sec. that i can’t increase.

Yes, you can set a max of backups in the folder whre the backups.

    (@mattjurek)

    Now i get, 2011-03-30 07:15.17: [WARNING] filesize() [function.filesize]: stat failed for /var/www/html/example.com/html/wp-content/backwpup-2c9cd/backwpup_1_2011-03-30_07-00-08.zip

    Thread Starter mattjurek

    (@mattjurek)

still doing the same thing even with reduced size, I cant make it any smaller.

    Thread Starter mattjurek

    (@mattjurek)

Have you figured out a solution yet? Also each backup is executing twice and creating double backups on the ftp server, no idea how its scheduled twice on each job.

I love the lack of support by the author

i think i have found a probleme tha is fixed with the next version. came in one day i think.
