    I tried to clone my excisting site 6 times – none of which worked.

    It didnt update all URL’s
    It did copy media files to new location but then doubled the path for them (i.e. new path was https://www.random.com/eng/ but all mediafiles were at https://www.random.com/eng/eng/) and therefor all mediafiles were broken on the site and even in mediafile manager on wordpress.
    Also when I did the first duplicate and then deleted it after discovering that something went wrong, it also deleted all original site mediafiles…

    I just want to remind you 2 important things : this plugin is free AND we try to be efficient on support interface.

    We can help you if we explain your problem and we try to correct (if necessary) or answer (often a problem with multisite usage).

    Hmmm, sounds like it wasn’t multisite to me. The site is gone already also. I’m not going to hold this one against you.
