Using your fantastic Q&A pages, love it. However, since last update I‘m getting:
“Bad escape sequence in string”
errors in Google Search Console. The issue seems to be that your plugin started adding a / after every ‘, example:

‘there aren’t any’ becomes ‘there aren\’t any’ in the code that is seen in Google ,although I did not manually add the /.
Are you aware of this issue? It breaks the functionality and rich snippets stop appearing (which the point of all this).
I thought I let you know.

Thanks for the update.
But the issue persists for me.
I’m using multi FAQ on classic editor.

Looks like the ‘ is causing the problem. In french we are likely to use it frequently.

im checking with https://validator.schema.org/ and search console tool.

Hi,

Should this issue be fixed in the latest version for all special characters?

I am still getting the error when I include a & or \ character in the Answer text of a FAQ.

Google search console reports it as “Unparsable structured data->Bad escape sequence in string”.

Cleared the cache and even did a preview form the login. Schema code remains the same. Can you tell me how the updated version addresses the issue, so I can verify the resulting code?
