• I do not have a nice experience with this plugin:

    a) It does not update changes providing from gcalendar, that is, if you change any data in the original source calendar it does not update the data, but creates a new event.

    b) The cache directory grows 100MB per day. Authors say we need to block spiders, but it does not have sense to generate a new cache file for each new visitor.

    a) This is not how it should function. It should update the event. You should post a support request.

    b) Blocking crawlers is the first step, but there could be other issues causing this. Perhaps a plugin conflict. Again, support should be able to help get you heading in the right direction.
