Bad joke that breaks stuff, and is largely abandoned

  • I’ve experienced problems updating WordPress via command line SVN because “Hello Dolly” didn’t exist in the plugins directory. Come on! Time to get rid of this bad penny that keeps turning up. At least make it optional. New users won’t know what the hell it is and Akismet installs by default and that at least does something.

    Updated 29 July 2017. This crappy plugin still is shipping with 4.8. Why? It says the plugin has not been updated in 8 months, and there is a warning it hasn’t been tested with the new, freshly installed version!
