Bad plugin.

Does not work at all, since it will not accept the Youtube Data V3 API key.
It will either tell the API key doesn’t work and give the indication of “Error 1” otherwise it will randomly say the API Key is expired, so I doubt that this plugin even have proper error handling.

you can check the error handling (there’s lots of it) for yourself @menalix, cfr. https://github.com/futtta/wp-youtube-lyte/blob/master/options.php#L281-L315 (e.g. the plugin says your key expired if I get “keyExpired” from YouTube, who am I to doubt that response)
but getting into the YouTube API can be a pain, that much is true. nothing much I can do about that I’m afraid …
